Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Vero Beach, FL
Duration: 8-Week Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support both front and back office operations in a primary care setting. The ideal candidate will assist with patient care, phlebotomy, preventative services, and administrative responsibilities while ensuring a positive patient experience and efficient clinic workflow.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support front and back office clinical operations
Greet, room, and prepare patients for provider visits
Obtain and accurately document patient information and vital signs
Perform blood draws and phlebotomy procedures
Assist providers with patient care and preventative health services
Maintain and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Schedule appointments and coordinate patient care activities
Answer patient inquiries and assist with administrative tasks
Ensure smooth patient flow and excellent customer service
Maintain clean, organized, and safe patient care areas
Follow all clinic safety, infection control, and compliance guidelines
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred
Front and back office experience required
Phlebotomy/blood draw experience required
Knowledge of primary care and preventative services required
Current BLS or CPR certification required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a primary care setting
EMR experience preferred
Experience supporting preventative care programs preferred
