Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be helping to care for patients in a clinic setting. You are a Medical Assistant who operates with great attention to detail and a big heart. You should have great interpersonal skills, solid sense of teamwork and be strong in verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities 
  • Room patients and record vital signs, height, weight, and medical history.
  • Assist providers with exams and minor procedures.
  • Administer vaccines and medications as directed by the provider and within state regulations.
  • Collect specimens and perform basic laboratory tests.
  • Document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Schedule appointments, answer phones, and coordinate referrals.
  • Educate parents on medications, vaccines, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and follow infection control protocols.
  • Provide compassionate, family-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents.

Qualifications
  • Currently licensed Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide
  • 1-2 years experience as a Pediatric Medical Assistant is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and client care skills 
  • First aid/CPR certification required
