Job Summary We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be helping to care for patients in a clinic setting. You are a Medical Assistant who operates with great attention to detail and a big heart. You should have great interpersonal skills, solid sense of teamwork and be strong in verbal and written communication.
Responsibilities
Room patients and record vital signs, height, weight, and medical history.
Assist providers with exams and minor procedures.
Administer vaccines and medications as directed by the provider and within state regulations.
Collect specimens and perform basic laboratory tests.
Document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Schedule appointments, answer phones, and coordinate referrals.
Educate parents on medications, vaccines, and follow-up care.
Maintain exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and follow infection control protocols.
Provide compassionate, family-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents.

Qualifications
Currently licensed Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide
1-2 years experience as a Pediatric Medical Assistant is preferred
