Are you a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant looking for a stable full-time opportunity? Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information.
Prepare exam rooms and maintain infection control standards.
Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing within your scope of practice.
Administer medications and treatments as permitted by state regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
Schedule appointments and coordinate patient care services.
Assist with intake screenings, health assessments, and chronic care clinics.
Monitor and stock medical supplies and equipment.
Respond to medical emergencies and assist the healthcare team as needed.
Follow all correctional facility safety, security, and confidentiality policies.
High School Diploma or GED.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration (as required by state).
Current BLS Certification.
Minimum of 1 year of clinical Medical Assistant experience.
Correctional, behavioral health, public health, or community health experience.
Experience using EMR/EHR systems.
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Full-Time, Monday–Friday schedule
No overnight shifts
