Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our Pediatric Orthopedics team at the New Ballas Clinic Towers. This position plays an essential role in supporting providers and delivering exceptional care to pediatric patients and their families.
The Medical Assistant provides both clinical and administrative support, ensuring efficient clinic operations while creating a positive experience for patients. This role works under provider supervision and within the Medical Assistant scope of practice while supporting Mercy's mission, values, and commitment to excellence.
The Medical Assistant supports physicians and advanced practice providers by delivering direct and indirect patient care in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, assisting with procedures, documenting patient information, coordinating care, and providing administrative support. The Medical Assistant is an integral member of the care team and contributes to a safe, welcoming, and patient-centered environment.
