Experienced Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant
Location: West Kendal/South Miami/Homestead (Floater)   
 Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities
As a Certified Medical Assistant with our practice, you will play an essential role in supporting both patients and providers:
  • Vital signs
  • Blood draw
  • NST
  • Assist physicians and nurse practitioners as needed.
  • Accurately record and update patient medical history and test results in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Work with referring OB offices and hospitals to request and obtain patient medical records.
  • Assist with front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, answering patient calls, verifying insurance, and maintaining organized medical records.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and providers, ensuring questions and concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Support daily clinical flow to keep operations efficient and patient care seamless.

Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification a plus.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in OB/GYN, perinatal medicine, or related healthcare fields preferred.
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish (required for effective patient communication).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Compassionate, professional, and dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.

Clinical Experience
  • Hands-on experience in direct patient care (OB/GYN or maternal-fetal experience is a plus).
  • Knowledge of perinatal conditions, high-risk pregnancy protocols, and related procedures preferred.
  • Confidence in handling sensitive patient cases with empathy and discretion.

Schedule
  • Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (approximately 40 hours/week).
  • No weekends or holiday shifts.
