Pay Range: $16.12 - $24.18 per hour | Based on Relevant Experience
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (some variability based on departmental needs)
The Medical Assistant – Psychiatry supports providers in delivering consistent, patient-centered behavioral health care. This role focuses on maintaining organized workflows, supporting accurate documentation, and ensuring patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit.

Support daily clinic operations by preparing patients for visits, obtaining vital signs, and collecting accurate medical and behavioral health information. Maintain consistent and organized workflows by documenting patient information in EPIC, administering screenings and questionnaires, and ensuring all required information is complete. Assist with medication workflows, including prior authorizations and refill requests, while following established processes. Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and patient communication to ensure continuity of care. Prepare and maintain exam rooms and supplies, and contribute to a calm, respectful, and confidential environment for all patients.

High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical Assistant certification preferred, but not required
Previous experience in a healthcare or patient-facing role preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a structured environment
Strong communication skills with a calm, professional approach
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Basic computer skills and ability to learn EPIC
