Medical Assistant - Radiology

Shift - 12H Day 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM

Experience in similar sized teaching facility "Radiology Medical Assistant for CT unit, will be required to work EVERY weekend. Every Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7a-7:30p. the candidate will work closely with the Radiology Tech in conducting patient exams by assisting in the clerical non technical and non exposure aspects of the exam. the candidate is responsible for assisting the tech, radiology nurse and radiologist by managing workflow , answering phones, stocking rooms, aiding patients to and from exam rooms and department. will perform various tasks such as scheduling and processing exams, preparing for regulatory and hospital audits, and utilizing the department computer systems. Will need to be very proficient in starting IVs in some modalities. " EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable Additional Information: " IVS to OFFER " Monday to Sunday " No block schedules for any reason " Bi-weekly orientations on Monday " Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained " This facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit Disclaimers: " Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended " Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November April.
