Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to support an outpatient clinic. The Medical Assistant will provide clinical and administrative support while assisting with patient care and maintaining effective communication with patients and healthcare team members.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program that meets applicable California requirements.

• Completion of the externship required by an accredited Medical Assisting program.

• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

• Bilingual Spanish/English required.

• Ability to read, write, and understand medical information and terminology.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment.
