    Schedule: Monday-Friday | School Hours

    Your Impact in a PSI Supported School

    As a Special Needs Medical Assistant, you help ensure medically fragile students can safely attend school and fully participate in their education.

    Your support provides reassurance to families while helping students thrive in a safe and supportive environment.

    What You'll Do

    • Provide one-on-one support to medically fragile students

    • Assist with daily health care needs and monitoring

    • Administer medications and basic medical interventions according to care plans

    • Provide first aid and respond to health concerns during the school day

    • Maintain accurate health records and documentation

    • Collaborate with teachers, nurses, families, and healthcare providers

    • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and FERPA guidelines

    What We're Looking For

    • Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program (Required)

    • Experience working with medically fragile children strongly preferred

    • Knowledge of communicable disease prevention and medication protocols

    • Understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality standards

    • Strong communication and collaboration skills

    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
