Job Summary:
Tryfacta is seeking a Medical Assistant for our client in Seattle, WA 98104. This is a 13-week contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please Apply Now!

Position Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Seattle, WA 9810413 weeks
Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00)

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Room and prepare patients for surgical clinic visits.
  • Obtain, document, and report patient vital signs accurately.
  • Record and update patient medical histories, medication lists, and allergy information in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
  • Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and minor in-office procedures as needed.
  • Prepare examination rooms, equipment, and supplies prior to patient appointments.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with clinic policies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
  • Provide patient education and reinforce provider instructions regarding treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
  • Ensure exam rooms and clinical areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality standards, including HIPAA requirements.
  • Manage patient flow to promote efficient clinic operations and positive patient experiences.
  • Perform other clinical and administrative duties within the MA-C scope of practice as assigned
To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]
  • Active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential required.
  • Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R), Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P), and Medical Assistant-Hemodialysis Technician (MA-HT) credentials will not be considered.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience working as a Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C), preferably in an adult outpatient or surgical clinic setting.
  • Experience obtaining and accurately documenting vital signs, patient histories, medications, and allergies.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR); EPIC experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices, patient confidentiality standards, and clinic safety protocols.
  • Ability to collaborate professionally with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
  • Must be a local candidate within commuting distance of Seattle, WA, as this is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
