Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is assisting our client hire a Medical Assistant in Seattle, Washington! This role is in person / on site. Please review the details below and apply with an updated resume. **Position Type** : Three-month contract, opportunity for extension **Schedule** : Monday through Friday - 8am to 5pm **Pay** : $21.20 to $24.20 per hour, based on experience **Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant** : · Rooming patients, taking vitals, weights, medications, medical history etc. · Set up rooms for procedure and assistance to provider. · Support the needs of our providers. · Maintains and reviews patient records, charts, and other pertinent information. · Ensure patient rooms are stocked, cleaned, orderly, and equipment is functioning properly. · Preparing instruments for re-sterilization. · Ensure compliance standards and participate in audits or inspections as needed. · Float to other sites in Seattle when/if call outs or support needs arise. · Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor. **Qualifications** **of the Medical Assistant** : · High school graduate or GED equivalent · Active Medical Assistant certification · One year of medical assistant experience · Epic experience required · Dermatology or Mohs surgery experience preferred **Why work for Adecco?** + Weekly Pay + 401(k) Plan + Skills Training + Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits **Pay Details:** $21.20 to $24.20 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
