Job Summary:

Position Title: Medical Assistant Location: Seattle, WA 98122 Duration: 13 weeks Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Pay rate: 27$/hr
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Room patients and prepare them for examinations
Obtain and document vital signs, height, weight, and pulse oximetry
Record patient history, medications, and allergies
Collect and label specimens, including urine samples
Assist with wound care and prepare exam rooms
Perform chart preparation and maintain accurate documentation
Schedule appointments and verify insurance information
Handle telephone triage, follow-up calls, pharmacy refill requests, and authorization forms
Stock clinical supplies and support providers with daily
To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]
Active Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) certification
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
Experience in an outpatient clinic setting preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and strong patient care skills
EPIC EMR experience preferred
