Location: Seattle, WA
Salary: $20.00 USD Hourly - $24.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Medical Assistant, to support an Internal Medicine practice in a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting. This role is critical in ensuring efficient patient flow, accurate clinical documentation, and timely coordination of care. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, reliable, and open to learning new workflows and clinical responsibilities.


This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • Room patients, collect and document vital signs, and prepare patients for provider visits
  • Manage provider In Basket messages, including patient communications, refill requests, and follow-ups
  • Perform EKGs and administer immunizations in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Initiate and process prior authorizations for medications, imaging, and procedures
  • Coordinate and manage specialty referrals, ensuring accurate documentation and timely scheduling
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Support providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and optimal patient care
  • Maintain compliance with all clinic policies, safety standards, and privacy regulations
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Medical Assistant Certification (MA‑C)
  • Experience using electronic medical records; EPIC experience preferred
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
