Perform clinical and administrative duties within the Primary Care department to assist with the confidential care of all students presenting to the health center. Demonstrate ability to work effectively as a multidisciplinary team member. Assist registered nurses, nurse practitioners, athletic trainers and physicians with assessments, examinations, and treatment. Execute duties including but not limited to crutch teaching, dressing changes, EKG and assistance with splint/cast application. Maintain and prepare rooms between patient procedures. Assist with preparation of equipment and procedures. Monitor, stock and restock supplies as needed. Perform point-of-care tests, collect and label urine and blood specimens accurately, administer vaccines as ordered by nurse practitioner/physician.
