2+ years of front/back office MA experience

FULL DESCRIPTION:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Act as an Ambassador to patients, referring physicians and other callers/guests
Monitor and schedule patient appointments as required
Process Medical Records requests
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Chart preparation for clinic
Provide paperwork and gather data for new patients
Review insurance information and verify benefits
Room patient; take vitals and help take patient history for providers
The selected candidate will also possess:
HS diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree preferred
Graduate of accredited Medical Assisting program, National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to read, write, speak and
understand English and Spanish clearly
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Experience with an Electronic Medical Record
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
Working knowledge of insurance (PPO, HMO, Medi-Cal, IEHP)
