The schedule for this position is as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. Thursday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Friday 8 am - 3 pm.

What You’ll Do 

• Provide services to individuals and coordination/support to psychiatrists and APRNs.
• Measure and record vital signs.
  
• Utilize electronic prescription for all prescription needs.
• Call pharmacy with necessary regarding medication changes or confirmation of medication and dosages.
• Manage lab orders; submit electronic orders; follow up with labs to request results.
• Complete paperwork related to service in a quality and timely manner.
• Dispose of Biohazard waste according to OSHA standards.
  
• Prepare and obtain medication prior authorization. 

Who You Are 

• Medical Assistant Certificate or Degree required.
• Minimum one year experience working with a psychiatric population required.
• Able to review/understand medication dosages and medication instructions.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Pay: $22.50 per hour
