Job Duties
Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
Obtain vital signs and complete patient intake and documentation.
Perform clinical duties within the scope of practice, including injections, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and wound care.
Perform diagnostic X-rays and ensure proper patient positioning and image quality.
Follow all radiation safety, infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements.
Maintain and clean X-ray equipment and clinical areas.
Assist with patient flow and room turnover.
Provide excellent, compassionate patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Support providers and clinical staff with day-to-day clinic operations.
Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.
X-ray certification/qualification required in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations. ARRT certification preferred.
Qualification
CPR/BLS certification
Previous experience performing diagnostic X-rays in a medical, orthopedic, urgent care, or similar setting preferred.
Skill
Strong patient care and communication skills
Medical terminology and EMR experience
Ability to perform basic clinical procedures
X-ray positioning and radiation safety knowledge
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
