Medical Assistant – Full-Time (On-Site)

Location: Yucaipa, CA 92399 

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM 

Max Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our clinical team and support high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role is ideal for someone who is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with physicians, nurses, and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care through in-person, telephone, and electronic interactions, including examinations, treatments, monitoring, and preparation for diagnostic procedures.

• Collect and accurately document patient information such as vital signs, chief complaints, medication lists, allergies, health risk screenings, and extended care benefit status.

• Assist physicians and nursing staff with clinical procedures including injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and other delegated tasks.

• Coordinate patient care in alignment with physician direction, organizational standards, and established policies.

• Manage patient-related tasks, phone calls, and messages, ensuring all actions are documented.

• Maintain complete and concise documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and paper-based systems for all assessments and procedures.

• Prepare and clean patient rooms, ensuring proper setup of instruments and equipment while adhering to infection control protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (or willingness to obtain by hire date)

• Entry-level is acceptable

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish

• Phlebotomy certification

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
