Max Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our clinical team and support high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role is ideal for someone who is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with physicians, nurses, and patients.
Deliver high-quality patient care through in-person, telephone, and electronic interactions, including examinations, treatments, monitoring, and preparation for diagnostic procedures.
Collect and accurately document patient information such as vital signs, chief complaints, medication lists, allergies, health risk screenings, and extended care benefit status.
Assist physicians and nursing staff with clinical procedures including injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and other delegated tasks.
Coordinate patient care in alignment with physician direction, organizational standards, and established policies.
Manage patient-related tasks, phone calls, and messages, ensuring all actions are documented.
Maintain complete and concise documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and paper-based systems for all assessments and procedures.
Prepare and clean patient rooms, ensuring proper setup of instruments and equipment while adhering to infection control protocols.
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (or willingness to obtain by hire date)
Entry-level is acceptable
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Phlebotomy certification
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
