Medical Asst Float-Gen Surg/GI/ENT

The Medical Assistant will support specialty practices by performing a variety of clinical tasks with moderate patient interaction. Working within a team of providers and assistants, this role focuses primarily on clinical duties to ensure efficient patient care and smooth operation of the facility, however, cross-training to be able to support registration or check-in is a plus. 

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Measure and record vital signs accurately
• Maintain and update medical records
• Schedule patient appointments efficiently
• Record and update patient medication lists
• Other duties as identified by clinic lead or manager

Desired Qualifications

• Certificate in Medical Assisting

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in medical assisting
• Friendly, approachable personality
• Strong patient communication abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
