Job Details

Our client, a well-established Cardiology Clinic with locations in Torrance and Koreatown, is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Medical Biller who can also assist with front office responsibilities.

Full Time Permanent Position
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
On-Site at Torrance and Koreatown offices

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit insurance claims promptly
Follow up on outstanding claims and resubmit denied claims as needed
Monitor insurance responses and ensure timely and accurate payment processing
Manage and work through Accounts Receivable (A/R) aging reports
Post insurance and patient payments into the EMR system
Identify and implement solutions to resolve claim issues
Answer phones and assist the clinic with front office duties

Requirements

Associateâs or Bachelorâs degree required
Minimum 2 years of recent medical billing experience in an outpatient clinic, preferably in cardiology
Proficient in navigating the medical insurance billing process
Knowledgeable in ICD-10 and ICD-11 coding standards
Highly proficient with computers and billing software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong follow-up skills with a demonstrated sense of urgency
Exemplary work ethic and professional integrity
