MORE Physical Therapy, Inc. seeks a Patient Account Representative to join our team in the Willow Glen area of San Jose! This is a full time position; Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM RESPONSIBILITIES: * Analyzing aging reports, auditing patient accounts, and following up on past due balances * Advising patients of their financial responsibility and the provisions of their insurance coverage * Ensuring insurance carriers and patients remit payments in a timely manner * Designing payment plans for patients with limited insurance or other financial challenges * Reviewing insurance company correspondence and responding to denials or rejected claims * Responding to requests and inquiries from insurance carriers and patients * Maintaining current knowledge of insurance provisions and contract requirements QUALIFICATIONS: * Outstanding customer service skills * Strong analytical and problem solving ability * Excellent organizational skills * Computer literacy * A minimum of one year experience in healthcare billing and collections * Familiarity with group health, Medicare, and worker's compensation insurance BENEFITS: * Paid vacation, holidays and sick time * Medical, dental and vision insurance * Flexible spending accounts * 401(k) ABOUT MORE PHYSICAL THERAPY, INC: At MORE we focus on empowering patients to return to play, return to work, and return to life!
