Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of medical billing experience required
• Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) billing experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office
• Proficiency with medical office software and basic computer applications
• Comfortable wearing scrubs or business casual attire
• Resume required for consideration
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen

Job Duties

• Process medical billing and insurance claims accurately and efficiently
• Verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility
• Maintain confidential and accurate medical records
• Collect copays and outstanding patient balances
• Answer incoming phone calls professionally
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Check patients in and out while providing exceptional customer service
• Perform filing, copying, scanning, and other administrative duties
• Support daily office operations and assist with additional duties as assigned
