Medical Billing Specialist

Certification: Active Medical Billing and Coding Certification is required (e.g., CPC, CCS).
Experience: A minimum of four years of hands-on medical billing and coding experience.
Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities with excellent customer service skills.

• Ensure accurate coding of services, procedures, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Manage the submission of electronic and paper claims to all major insurance companies, including Medicaid.
• Post insurance and patient payments accurately and efficiently.
• Investigate and resolve denied or underpaid claims through diligent follow-up with insurance providers.
• Maintain healthy revenue cycles by managing aged accounts receivable reports.
• Assist patients with billing inquiries, explain financial responsibilities, and establish payment plans.
