Medical Billing Specialist

Raincross Medical Group is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist with at least one year of medical billing experience, including claim denials, billing reports, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Review and resolve denied or rejected claims, including corrected claims and appeals.

• Follow up on unpaid claims and outstanding insurance balances.

• Prepare and review billing reports to identify discrepancies and follow-up needs.

• Conduct billing audits to verify accuracy and identify errors.

• Post payments, review adjustments, and reconcile account discrepancies.

• Communicate with insurance companies and office staff to resolve billing issues.

• Maintain accurate records and protect patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of medical billing experience.

• Experience with denial management, billing reports, and audits.

• Knowledge of insurance billing, CPT and ICD-10 codes, and accounts receivable.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Experience with Elation Billing preferred.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 4:30m pm  Benefits: Health, Dental, 401k, and more.
