Job Title: Call Center Representative (Medical)
Location: Marietta (West Cobb Area)
Pay: $18.00 $20.00 per hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire, Full-Time
Shift: MondayFriday | 8:00am4:30pm (30-minute lunch)
Work Schedule: Hybrid (On-site training for first 3 months, then fully remote)

Call Center Representative Description
The Call Center Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients, providing a compassionate and efficient experience via phone, email, and messaging platforms. This role supports the front office team by ensuring patient communication is handled professionally and accurately.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of incoming patient calls with professionalism and empathy
- Monitor and respond to patient emails in a timely manner
- Assist with patient messaging platforms (Klara)
- Support fax management as needed
- Provide accurate information regarding providers, services, and scheduling
- Communicate internally to resolve insurance and patient-related questions
- Maintain detailed and organized documentation of all patient interactions
- Occasionally visit clinic locations to strengthen provider knowledge and patient matching
Requirements
- Previous call center, medical office, or customer service experience preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare systems (ModMed/EMA preferred)
- Experience with insurance portals such as Availity, Cigna, or UHC is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Empathetic, patient-focused mindset
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Must have reliable high-speed internet and a distraction-free workspace
