Job Title: Call Center Representative (Medical)
Location: Marietta (West Cobb Area)
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire, Full-Time
Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00am–4:30pm (30-minute lunch)
Work Schedule: Hybrid (On-site training for first 3 months, then fully remote)

Call Center Representative Description

The Call Center Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients, providing a compassionate and efficient experience via phone, email, and messaging platforms. This role supports the front office team by ensuring patient communication is handled professionally and accurately.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of incoming patient calls with professionalism and empathy
  • Monitor and respond to patient emails in a timely manner
  • Assist with patient messaging platforms (Klara)
  • Support fax management as needed
  • Provide accurate information regarding providers, services, and scheduling
  • Communicate internally to resolve insurance and patient-related questions
  • Maintain detailed and organized documentation of all patient interactions
  • Occasionally visit clinic locations to strengthen provider knowledge and patient matching

Requirements

  • Previous call center, medical office, or customer service experience preferred
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems (ModMed/EMA preferred)
  • Experience with insurance portals such as Availity, Cigna, or UHC is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Empathetic, patient-focused mindset
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Must have reliable high-speed internet and a distraction-free workspace
