Overview

Medical Claims Representative Objective

To provide efficient investigation, evaluation and negotiation of Michigan No-Fault claims.



Responsibilities

Medical Claims Representative Responsibilities

Respond to and control the disposition of all assigned Michigan No-Fault claims.

 

Work with computer systems keying functions, including but not limited to letter composition, log entry, diary entry, report of investigation composition, and draft production.

 

Read and apply policy of Michigan No-Fault acts as written.



Qualifications



Medical Claims Representative Qualifications

Required

Minimum two to three years medical claims handling experience required.

 

Must possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record. 

 

Preferred

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred.

 

Designation in claims insurance preferred.

 

Note: If a candidate is not selected, an Associate Medical Claims Representative position may be considered on the level of experience and qualifications. This position can be flexible working from personal residence within the state of Michigan.
