Job Description
Job purpose
To receive and transport samples to the lab for testing, and critically think through logistical situations.
Duties and responsibilities
- Execute pickups and/or deliveries for routed and non-routed stops.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all accounts serviced.
- Account for all specimens by tracking everything on electronic courier log, and routed sheets that are turned in each evening.
- Ability to work independently and utilize critical thinking to handle obstacles
- Maintain and safely operate company vehicle in all weather conditions.
- Follow all SOPs.
- Drive in a safe manner, maintain a “Low Risk (Score > 95)” driver score.
Qualifications:
- Be able to drive for long periods of time
- 21+ years old
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record over 5+ years (MVR is required)
- Strong work ethic and communication skills
Key notes:
- A motor vehicle report of at least 5 years will be requested for an interview. These reports can be obtained at the DMV office online or in person.
- These shifts may at times be longer or shorter at times depending on Unscheduled Stops, and have the approximate hours of 10-12 hour days.
- Must be willing and able to work a Saturday on occasion.
