The Medical Device Assembler works closely with engineering teams to assemble prototypes and commercial medical devices in a controlled environment. This role is responsible for assembling and inspecting devices according to documented procedures while ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities -Work under a microscope a must.
Assemble medical devices in a controlled/cleanroom environment
Document assembly processes following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Comply with company policies and controlled environment procedures
Assemble prototype and commercial medical devices
Work under a microscope to perform detailed assembly work
Support material handling, including pulling parts for builds
Follow cleaning procedures to ensure component cleanliness (CER standards)
Perform catheter assembly processes such as thermal bonding, UV adhesive bonding, and soldering
Conduct in-process (WIP) and final product quality inspections
Perform product testing as required
Support additional tasks as assigned
