Medical Device Assembler
Pay: $19 - $20/hr, paid weekly
Location: Dexter, MI 48130
Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 2:30 PM-10:30 PM
Training: May be held on 1st or 2nd shift (most likely 2nd shift)
Duration: 1-Year Contract
Overview
Join a medical device manufacturing team assembling catheters and related components in a clean, production environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work with small parts, and following detailed assembly instructions to produce high-quality medical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble catheter products using small and large components.
- Perform catheter dipping and other production processes.
- Follow visual work instructions, diagrams, process sheets, and assembly procedures.
- Assemble mechanical and electronic components using hand tools and production equipment.
- Inspect work throughout the assembly process to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform basic testing, rework, modifications, and prototype assembly as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company quality and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Ability to write legibly.
- Comfortable working with small, detailed parts.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is helpful but not required.
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
