Summary: Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. Responsibilities: Responsible for the production of high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell. Perform detailed assembly and operation of various equipment and machinery per documented procedures. Involve in electronic assembly, casting/coating functions, mechanical assembly, and packaging. Clean tools and equipment per documented procedures. Dispose of hazardous waste material in designated areas. Assemble medical devices and related components, potentially in a controlled cleanroom environment. Use microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering, adhesive bonding, and various equipment. Perform routine assignments according to specified and/or standardized procedures. Conduct visual inspection and precision measurements on components and assemblies. Perform tests on units using computerized test equipment. Repair and correct devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools. Package devices ensuring all parts are accurate and documentation is complete. Maintain accurate records for traceability and quality assurance. Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices and equipment. Participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives to enhance production processes. Notify supervisor or lead of the need to replenish supplies/materials and any production difficulties. Collaborate with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager in setting and monitoring individual goals and cell performance metrics. Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment throughout the building. Requirements: Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow English written procedures at a 6th-grade level. Possess good basic math skills at a 6th-grade level. Ability to speak, follow verbal instructions, and communicate effectively in English. Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages. Good dexterity to handle and maneuver small components and parts. Ability to prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs. Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision. High school diploma required. 2 years of experience.
