Now Hiring Medical Device Assembly Technicians!Qualified Staffing is recruiting Assembly Technicians for a medical instrument manufacturer in Richmond, VA. This role involves assembling precision medical devices using small parts, following detailed instructions, and ensuring products meet strict quality and regulatory standards.
What You’ll Do

• Assemble medical instruments and components following detailed work instructions and diagrams
• Inspect parts using gauges, fixtures, and visual checks to ensure quality standards are met
• Complete production paperwork and batch documentation accurately
• Use hand tools and small electric fastening tools safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Report defects, equipment issues, or process concerns promptly
• Follow all GMP, FDA, and quality procedures

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required (technical training preferred)
• Previous small-parts assembly, electronics, or medical device experience preferred
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small components
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
