Medical Device Manufacturing Operator

Pay Range: $13.40hr - $18.40hr

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for producing high-quality medical device components within a manufacturing environment. Working under close supervision, the successful candidate may perform a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on medical device assemblies used in implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs). Prior manufacturing experience is not required; however, the candidate must be able to follow instructions, work safely, and maintain consistent attendance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly, testing, and/or production tasks according to specified and/or standardized procedures.
• Participate with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager in setting and monitoring individual goals and daily process performance metrics.
• Follow all safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices/PPE when performing operations.
• Maintain accurate records to ensure quality documents are correct, product and inventory are traceable, and quality issues can be addressed to ensure product quality.
• Communicate issues, concerns, or improvement ideas to leadership.
• Support team goals and production targets.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with coworkers.
• Support divisional initiatives and comply with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and applicable regulatory requirements.

Work Environment:

The role is based in a manufacturing and production setting. It involves repetitive tasks and handling small components. Specific work attire and safety requirements will be provided during onboarding and training.
