Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Device Returns & Warehouse Technician to support the processing, inspection, inventory, and routing of returned medical devices. This position combines warehouse operations, inventory management, computer/data entry, and product inspection in a healthcare-related environment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with computer systems and inventory, and able to safely handle returned medical products, including items that may require biohazard precautions.
Hepatitis B vaccination is required prior to starting due to working with returned healthcare products. A vaccination record is required, or the Hepatitis B vaccination series may be provided at no cost during onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, verify, and process returned medical devices and products.
Compare returned products against Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) documentation to ensure accuracy.
Enter and update return information in company systems.
Create sales and service orders and route products to the appropriate department.
Inspect returned products and determine proper handling, including repacking, restocking, or transferring.
Maintain accurate inventory records and product documentation.
Safely handle returned healthcare products, including materials requiring biohazard precautions.
Prepare reports and maintain department records using computer systems and spreadsheets.
Assist with warehouse and inventory activities as needed.
Follow company procedures and maintain consistent attendance.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Strong computer skills, including experience with spreadsheets, word processing, and database systems.
Ability to accurately enter and maintain information in computer systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to read and understand written procedures and general correspondence.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Forklift experience preferred.
Ability to safely work with returned healthcare/medical products.
Hepatitis B vaccination required prior to starting.
Preferred Experience
13+ years of warehouse, inventory, returns processing, medical device, healthcare, or logistics experience.
Experience with ERP, inventory, or warehouse management systems.
Experience working in a regulated environment.
Knowledge of GMP and/or ISO quality requirements is a plus.
Experience with RMA, returns processing, inventory control, or product reprocessing is a plus.
