Medical Director - AP/CP General Surgical PathologistMiami, FL
Full-time | Days (Rotating Weekends)
We are seeking a Pathology Medical Director for a hospital in Miami, FL.
Qualified Candidates:- AP/CP Board Certification required
- 2 years of hospital-based Medical Director experience preferred
- Recent experience performing frozen sections
- Recent general surgical pathology and clinical interpretations
- Florida licensed or FCVS in place preferred
- Case volumes: 10,000 cases per year inclusive of surgicals, cytologies and bone marrows
- Number of pathologists at site: 3
- No gyn-cytology or autopsy coverage
- Oversight of the labs within the Free-standing Emergency Departments associated with the hospital
