Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
- Establish and uphold medical standards of care
- Lead case management, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Perform surgeries and dentistry (with opportunity to expand offerings)
- Support growth in surgical and advanced medical capabilities
Mentorship & Team Development
- Mentor and develop associate veterinarian(s), particularly in surgery and complex cases
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and accountable team culture
- Partner closely with leadership on recruiting and team growth
Hospital Growth & Strategy
- Help expand services
- Provide input on new investments and upgrades
- Support workflow improvements and efficiency
Ideal Candidate
- DVM or equivalent, licensed (or eligible) in South Carolina
- 5+ years of experience preferred
- Strong surgical skills
- Passion for mentorship and developing other doctors
- Confident, collaborative leader who enjoys building and improving systems
Schedule & Work-Life Balance
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Dedicated lunch break
- No weekends, ER or on call
