A growing veterinary practice is seeking an experienced Medical Director to provide clinical leadership while delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership while maintaining an active clinical caseload.

• Deliver high-quality medical, surgical, preventive, diagnostic, and urgent care services.

• Mentor and support veterinarians and support staff through coaching, training, and professional development.

• Promote a collaborative, positive workplace culture focused on quality medicine and exceptional client service.

• Establish and uphold medical protocols, clinical standards, and best practices.

• Partner with hospital leadership to improve workflows, operational efficiency, and team performance.

• Ensure accurate medical records and compliance with professional and regulatory requirements.

• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and developing veterinary team members.

• Support hospital growth through leadership, community engagement, and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

• Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.

• Previous veterinary leadership or mentorship experience preferred.

• Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills.
