Job Summary:

Qualified Candidates:
  • Board eligible or board certified in pediatric critical care
  • Available full time for block scheduling; service covers hospital 24/7
  • Ability to work days, nights and cover the pediatric sedation serviceBoard eligible or board certified in pediatric critical care
  • Champion Clinical Excellence: Leverage national benchmarks (e.g., HCA CSG, AAP, CMS) to guide performance improvement and ensure high-quality pediatric critical care.
  • Provide Clinical Leadership: Direct patient care protocols, lead pediatric mock codes, supervise Pediatric Rapid Response and Transport Teams, and coordinate multidisciplinary rounds.
  • Drive Program Development: Oversee ongoing program growth, support patient satisfaction initiatives, and lead onboarding for new PICU physicians.
  • Support Recruitment Efforts: Collaborate with leadership to recruit top pediatric specialists aligned with facility and community needs.
  • Lead Clinical Education: Develop and deliver educational programs for subspecialty physicians and staff, including case studies and best practices in pediatric critical care.
  • Collaborate with Facility Leadership: Work closely with hospital administration to align PICU goals with strategic, operational, and service line objectives.
