 Medical Director (Psychiatry)
Lead clinical excellence and shape the future of behavioral health care
The Edinburg Center is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Medical Director to provide psychiatric leadership across our programs, including PACT and outpatient services. This is a high-impact role combining clinical care, leadership, and program development.
 
 What You’ll Do
Clinical Leadership & Care
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management
  • Offer expert consultation for complex and crisis cases
  • Support high-quality, person-centered care across programs
 Supervision & Team Leadership
  • Supervise psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and prescribers
  • Conduct evaluations and support staff development
  • Serve as clinical co-lead for the PACT team
Program Development & Strategy
  • Partner with executive leadership to design and grow clinical programs
  • Develop and implement agency-wide policies and protocols
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
 Collaboration & Operations
  • Ensure adequate psychiatric coverage across programs
  • Lead trainings and participate in key committees
  • Collaborate with DMH and interdisciplinary teams
 
 What You Are:
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified in Psychiatry (ABPN)
  • Active, unrestricted Massachusetts medical license
  • Valid DEA & MA Controlled Substances Registration
  • Experience in clinical leadership and psychiatric care
  • Ability to work with electronic health records
 
 
 On-Call
Provide after-hours consultation as needed
