A veterinary practice is seeking a Medical Director to guide its clinical team while delivering high-quality companion animal care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Perform routine surgical and dental procedures within the scope of practice.

• Mentor and support veterinarians and support staff to encourage professional growth and clinical excellence.

• Promote collaboration, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture.

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

• Ensure compliance with established medical standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

• Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.

• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to mentor teams while maintaining high standards of medical care.
