    About the Role:
    Join the Military Health Research Foundation as a Medical Dosimetrist at Nellis Air Force Base, NV. In this pivotal role, you'll contribute to cutting-edge research and patient care, ensuring precise treatment planning in radiation therapy.
    Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with radiation oncologists to develop and implement optimal treatment plans.
    • Utilize advanced software to calculate radiation doses and ensure accurate delivery.
    • Conduct quality assurance checks on treatment plans and equipment.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment plans.
    • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and students.
    • Stay updated on advancements in dosimetry techniques and technologies.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols in radiation therapy.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Medical Dosimetry or related field.
    • Certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) preferred.
    • Experience in a clinical radiation oncology setting.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficient in treatment planning software and radiation therapy technologies.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
