  • Full Time - Scheduled for 40 Weekly Hours
  • Shift Days & Times - Mon-Fri, Days/Afternoons
  • Work Locations - St Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital & St Elizabeth Boardman Hospital

Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position:

The Medical Education Support Coordinator supports Medical Education department with clerkship rotations, scheduling and other departmental needs. The coordinator also assists the Director of Graduate Medical Education and the Chief Academic Officer.

Essential Job Functions

  • Supporting the Director, Graduate Medical Education on varies medical education tasks during the academic year
  • Supporting the Chief Academic Officer on varies department needs
  • Point of contact for all potential learners on campus for clinical observations
  • Maintains documentation for all clinical observers and medical students
  • Supports different residency programs with ACGME accreditation needs
  • OB/GYN Clerkship Coordinator
  • Youngstown Family Medicine Clerkship and M4 Elective Coordinator
  • NEOMED point of contact for M2 PDLs for Boardman site
  • Point of contact for Medical School Housing
  • Duties as assigned for the Medical Education department

Education Qualifications:

Required Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education:

2 Year/ Associates Degree

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred

Problem solving skills, basic computer skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, 2 years medical office experience.
