Total Performance Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced Front Office Representative / Rock Star Patient Ambassador for our fast-paced, growing outpatient practice. This position plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional patient experience from first phone call through discharge.
We are a people-centered, performance-driven physical therapy practice. The front desk is not an administrative afterthought — it is the heartbeat of our clinics.

Position Overview

This role blends medical front office operations, insurance coordination, and patient experience management. You will be the first impression of TPPT and the standard bearer for professionalism, organization, and positivity.

This is a full-time position in a well-established clinic.

Schedule Requirements:

  • Must work 2 evenings per week
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Patient Interaction & Front Desk Operations

  • Greet patients promptly in a courteous, helpful manner
  • Check patients in and ensure accurate documentation
  • Collect copays and patient balances
  • Schedule and manage appointments efficiently
  • Answer and manage phones; screen calls; take clear, concise messages
  • Provide accurate information to patients regarding services and scheduling
  • Balance end-of-day payments and prepare bank deposits

Insurance & Billing Support

  • Explain health insurance benefits to patients clearly and confidently
  • Verify prescriptions and ensure PT referrals are current
  • Alert therapists promptly if prescriptions or authorizations require action

Patient Ambassador Responsibilities

  • Ensure every patient receives a 5-Star experience
  • Conduct patient surveys and engage with patients proactively
  • Support reputation management and patient follow-up processes
  • Assist with workshops, community events, and attendance tracking
  • Support monthly newsletter coordination

Qualifications

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
