Job Summary

Join Fresh Start Medicine as a Medical Front Desk Receptionist and be the welcoming face of our 

medical practice. We’re seeking a professional, organized, and patient-focused individual 

to handle check-ins, scheduling, payments, and administrative support in a fast-paced, 

team-oriented environment.

Position: Medical Front Desk

Reports To: Regional Office Manager

Pay Range: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour

Employer: Fresh Start Medicine 

Work Setting: In-person, medical office environment

Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

a supportive and professional environment. We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Medical Front Desk to join our administrative team and serve as the first point 

of contact for patients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check patients in and out efficiently and courteously.

• Maintain an organized and efficient front desk workflow.

• Process patient payments and secure funds in the drop safe.

• Contact patients who miss appointments to reschedule promptly.

• Answer phone calls in a timely and professional manner.

• Maintain a clean and safe reception area following office policies.

• Monitor clinic premises to ensure compliance with no-smoking and safety rules.

• Complete and submit prior authorizations to insurance companies within 24 hours.

• Schedule patient appointments and provide administrative support as needed.

• Collaborate with team members and take initiative to assist where required.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Strong telephone and verbal communication skills.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Patient-focused attitude with strong interpersonal abilities.

• Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with supply management and front-office coordination preferred.
