US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Medical Front Office Coordinator to join our team at Memorial Cardiology Associates in Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and front desk activities.
  • Manage patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and insurance companies.
  • Oversee billing processes, insurance verifications, and authorizations.
  • Monitor inventory and order medical and office supplies as needed.
  • Ensure all medical equipment is operational and properly maintained.
  • Support onboarding and training of new administrative staff.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining office policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) is preferred but not required.
  • Certification in medical office administration or healthcare management is preferred but not required.
