About the Role
Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Knoxville, TN.
Compensation: $16.50-$17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients in person and by phone
Route calls, answer general questions, and collect copayments
Accept copayments
Support daily clinic flow, schedules, and front desk operations
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
Experience in a healthcare office or medical administrative environment
Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting
Comfort using EHR and scheduling platforms; strong attention to accuracy
Understanding of basic insurance concepts (eligibility, benefits, medical necessity)
Prior authorization or surgery scheduling experience is a plus but not required
Commitment to confidentiality and compliance expectations
