Medical Front Office Supervisor
Virginia Beach, VA
Pay From: $22 per hour

MUST:
The Medical Front Office Supervisor or Front Desk Administrator must have experience:
At least 3+ years of medical office administrative experience
Strong leadership skills
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products required. Experience working with medical record systems
Proficient knowledge of medical terminology
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, human resources, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

DUTIES:
The duties of the Front Office Supervisor include but are not limited to the following:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Scheduling patient appointments
Answering the telephone, faxing, and generating correspondences
Entering patient information into electronic medical records after each visit
Appointment confirmations
Patient billing
Prior authorizations and insurance verification
Assisting the surgeon with minor surgical procedures
Monitor and enhance patient relations and service
Creating surgical fee quotes, consents, and discussing payment options with patients
Ordering surgical supplies and maintaining inventory
Maintain confidentiality of all client and practice information
Overseeing the new patient process
Rooming patients
Setting up rooms
