Job Overview The Med Gas Certified Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for installing and supporting medical gas piping systems in accordance with project specifications and industry safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and repair medical gas piping systems (oxygen, nitrous oxide, medical air, vacuum, etc.).
• Perform brazing in accordance with NFPA 99 standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and shop drawings.
• Pressure test and assist with system verification and inspections.
• Work closely with supervisors, inspectors, and other trades on-site.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.
• Ensure quality workmanship on active healthcare/commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Valid Medical Gas Certification.
• ASME Brazing.
• NFPA 99 compliant.
• Proven experience on commercial or healthcare construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of med gas codes and installation standards.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen for healthcare projects.
• Reliable transportation and tools.
