ImageCare Lathamis seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Imaging Technologist CT to join our team. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday.

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

• Provides CT services according to policy and procedure, considering the patients age and unique characteristics. • Adheres to CT standards and practices as dictated by the ACR and state regulations. • Provides service promptly and completes the work on a timely basis. • Cleans, maintains, and monitors equipment appropriately. • Troubleshoots equipment according to manufacturers recommendations. • Reports equipment problems to supervisor. • Calls manufacturers service department under the direction of the supervisor. • Provides quality CT procedures for radiologist interpretation. • Operates all CT equipment used in the production of images. • Responsible for performing the prescribed procedures requested on patients. • Must obtain training for IV insertions and prepare IV contrast for injection. • Must obtain consent for specified procedures and sign appropriate consent forms. • Lifting, transporting, and positioning patients may be required, including individuals with mobility limitations. • If not previously trained in MRI, a willingness to cross-train and become certified in the modality.

Reviews given history when an order is placed and consults with radiologist when questions or contraindications arise. Documents pertinent patient history, reviews previous reports when available, and discusses the procedure with the patient to allay apprehension and elicit understanding.

Performs CT procedures using proper technical factors and patient positioning to produce images of high diagnostic quality. These images include all necessary information for accurate diagnosis and should be maximally presented for aesthetic quality.

Differentiates average from abnormal findings and asks for assistance from the radiologist if unsure. Correctly logs all pertinent information into Centricity and Nuance as applicable. Sends all studies with completed histories to the correct Merge study list, enabling the radiologist to interpret the exam promptly.

Performs all tasks in alignment with infection control guidelines. Responds to emergencies as required and assists in adverse reactions to medications. Restocks scanning rooms, notifies appropriate individuals when reordering is necessary, empties laundry, and ensures the equipment is cleaned daily.

Accommodates schedule needs as required and emergency coverage as necessary. Participates in orienting new staff members and others as appropriate. Actively participates in CQI development. Prepares and maintains proper recordkeeping, occurrence reports, and malfunction reports.

Perform quality assurance testing as assigned.

Compensation: $35.00-$45.00 per hour (CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.)
