Full-Time | Monday-Friday | No Weekends or Holidays
The Medical Interpreter Translator plays a vital role in helping ensure effective communication between healthcare providers and Spanish-speaking patients. This position provides both verbal and written interpretation and translation services to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
We are seeking a bilingual professional who is passionate about helping patients navigate their healthcare experience and ensuring language is never a barrier to receiving exceptional care. This position on-site in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide accurate verbal interpretation between English and Spanish during patient visits and other healthcare interactions.
Translate written materials and communications as needed.
Assist providers with interpretation needs to facilitate effective patient care.
Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up communications.
Assist with billing-related tasks and patient account inquiries.
Update and maintain patient records within the electronic medical record system.
Perform general office and administrative duties as assigned.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Full fluency in English and Spanish, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Prior medical interpretation or translation experience preferred.
