The Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) functions as a laboratory professional who assists other laboratory personnel in specimen collection, specimen receiving, specimen processing, laboratory testing, process improvement and quality initiatives.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Experience working in the clinical setting
  • Certification from nationally recognized agency as a phlebotomist preferred.
